Attaching Files In Email (Webmail)

This will allow teachers to reach the NETS-T (National Educational Technology Standards for teachers)

5. a. participate in local and global learning communities to explore creative applications of technology to improve student learning. model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning.


File attachments are fairly easy. However, in case webmail is frustrating you, here are the steps to successfully attach a file.

  1. Prepare the document you intend to send.
  2. Log in to webmail with your userid and password.
  3. Click on the Compose button.
  4. Fill out the To: box as you would normally (to your email recipient).
  5. Fill out the Subject line and text body as you deem appropriate.
  6. At the bottom in a gray bar is an attachment box. Click the Browse button and pick your file from the file browser.
  7. Click the Add button.
  8. Click Send.
