Example (Bloom's Taxonomy)

This tutorial aids a teacher in the following Reading/Language Arts Grade Level Expectations:

0501.1.1 Know and use appropriately the meaning, forms, and functions of nouns (including common/proper, singular/plural, possessives, predicate nouns) ...

0601.1.1 Know and use appropriately the meaning, forms and functions of nouns (including collective nouns, nouns as objects, predicate nouns), pronouns (including proper pronoun case; objects of prepositions; agreement with antecedents in person and number; indefinite, relative, and demonstrative pronouns), ...

0701.1.1 Know and use appropriately the meaning, forms, and functions of nouns (including collective nouns, compound nouns, noun clauses, noun functions as direct and indirect objects, and as predicate nouns), pronouns (including proper case: nominative, objective, possessive; reflexive pronouns, interrogative; demonstrative; agreement of pronouns with their antecedents),...

0801.1.1 Know and use appropriately the meaning, forms, and functions of nouns (including predicate nouns, appositives), pronouns (including use of proper pronoun case: objective, nominative, and possessive; pronoun-antecedent agreement), ...

This is an example of designing a lesson (in this case, on predicates). The prerequisites require that the students know what nouns, verbs and adjectives are. Besides providing the students with the definition of the topic (predicates), there are nine flipchart pages, with five activities (one at Bloom's Taxonomy 3, one at 4, two at 5 and one at 6).

You may notice this flipchart doesn't go deeply into the bells and whistles of ACTIVInspire. The bottom line is the educational techniques we use to aid in the education of our students, not the number of program bells and whistles we used. The bells and whistles are great as long as the students are moving in the direction of mastery of the content.
