There is a simple logic that if your teacher uses the tickertape to display the following phrase:
We're having a test tomorrow. You will need wide-ruled notebook paper and a No. 2 pencil.
What should you do? Perhaps prepare for a test?
This is a written context that is different from other written contexts that many students will have seen. Even if they have seen it, this is a varied format from a typical oral announcement.
Using The TickerTape
Tickertape is often used for:
- Bellringers.
- Remind students of equipment needed.
- List assignments and/or homework.
- Prepare for lesson.
- Announce important information.
