- The Writing Fix an excellent site of six trait (Idea Development, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, and Conventions) writing materials. They even have a section that lets you pick "For Which Trait are you Seeking a Lesson?"
- MNPS Language Arts Resources
- Daily Grammar lessons and quizes covering the eight parts of speech, (verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections), the parts of the sentence (appositives, predicate nominatives, direct objects, prepositional phrases, clauses, and verbals), and the mechanics of grammar (capitalization and punctuation).

- Boiling Point Using a multimedia experience, students see how long it takes something to melt which is charted. Students analyze the chart to answer questions about boiling points of various substances and other questions involving time and temperature.

- VoiceThread group conversations are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world. All with no software to install. A VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways - using voice (with a mic or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam). Share a VoiceThread with friends, students, and colleagues for them to record comments too. Users can doodle while commenting, use multiple identities, and pick which comments are shown through moderation. VoiceThreads can even be embedded to show and receive comments on other websites and exported to MP3 players or DVDs to play as archival movies.
- WallWisher A bulletin board where students can post ideas to a topic. Allows student interactions to an idea. Students do not need an account to post a comment and can identify themselves. Posts can be text, photos, videos and the like.
